Shlomo Gadot, CEO and Co-Founder

Shlomo was appointed as CEO of Percello in 2007. He has over 26 years experience in management and design of communication systems and VLSI, Digital Signal Processing and algorithms/implementation in communication systems.

Shlomo was co-founder and CEO of Modem-Art, a fabless semiconductor company in the area of baseband processor for 3G mobile phones. Following Agere's acquisition of Modem Art in 2005 for $145M, Shlomo served as General Manager of Agere Systems /LSI Israel (NYSE – AGR), which became one of the main design centers of Agere Systems/LSI for advanced mobile communications technology. Later on, Shlomo was appointed General Manager of L1 in Agere Systems where he was responsible for 2G/3G/4G (GSM/UMTS/LTE) L1 and managed the Israel, UK and Australia sites.

Previously, Shlomo served in several development and management positions at AT&T Bell Labs in the advanced communication business unit, which was eventually spun off from AT&T to Globespan (NYSE- GSPN).

Shlomo holds a B.S.E.E degree from the Technion Institute of Technology and an M.B.A from the Hebrew University.



Rafy Carmon, VP R&D and Co-Founder

Rafy brings over 20 years of intensive technical and R&D experience, with particular expertise in the area of wireless communications. Prior to Percello, Rafy was the R&D Director at LSI and Agere, responsible for the development of HSDPA, HSUPA, integrated 2G&3G and LTE baseband processors for mobile handsets. Before that, he served for five years as VP R&D at Modem-Art (subsequently acquired by Agere).

Previously, Rafy was Chief Architect and Department Manager at Motorola Communications where he initiated and led the development of TETRA modems and the development of “Mountain Rose,” the world's first highly secure cellular network for military use. Rafy holds 24 awarded patents in the wireless communication technology domain, with an additional 10 patents pending.

Rafy holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute, an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering - Signal Processing and Communications from Tel Aviv University and an MBA – Finance from Tel Aviv University.



Yoav Volloch, VP Product Management and Co-Founder

With over 15 years experience in system architecture and project management in the field of mobile communications, Yoav is responsible for all marketing and business development activity at Percello.

Prior to co-founding Percello, Yoav was the LTE Project Manager at Agere/LSI, as well as serving in a number of senior system architecture and engineering positions at DSPC and Intel (which acquired DSPC) in 3G mobile projects. Before DSPC, Yoav worked on Motorola Communications' Tetra Project in various development roles.

Yoav earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at Tel-Aviv University, specializing in Communication and Digital Signal Processing.
